we created Roadmap views and now Data Architecture views for our customer's iServer EAM tool with Microsoft Reporting Services. Having EAM data in an SQL database and using mighty BI/Reporting tools like the ones from Microsoft allows us using the architecture assets for many different purposes.

some of our customers achieved similar flexiblity by creating synchronzation scripts between their EAM tools' (object oriented) DB and a relational DB. There are many way to get the best out of your architecture assets!
